Happy to create a work of art for you to wear to a special event. Whether it is for a wedding or anniversary or a night on the town, I can create one special piece or an entire collection for the bridal party, Yes, grooms too!
Are a good faerie or a bad faerie? Fantasy art jewelry is just the thing you need if you are attending a Faerie Ball or Renaissance Faire, or maybe you just want to feel like Queen for a Day! I've created sculptural art jewelry for all creatures great and small, good or evil!
My work is universal, it is worn by women and men of all ages. I am always creating new designs and new color combinations. My work can be found in shops and galleries, at juried art shows and festivals and my online shop. And yes, at line dance events, of course! It is worn by customers all over the U.S, as well as around the globe in places such as Sweden, Japan and South Africa.
I’ve come to understand it’s all about dancing and fun for me.
I have worked in many mediums throughout my life as an artist. Among them are fiber art, costume design, puppetry and sculpture. In all of them I am attracted to color, movement and whimsy. I believe that because my background has been so diverse, I am able to infuse my work with something different. Hand made wire sculpted jewelry is my current medium. I create pendants, earrings and necklaces which and bracelets. My process is organic, I choose gemstones that are vibrant colors with variations and are often freeform shaped. I also work with pearls, crystals and glass. I feel my way through each piece, working intuitively choosing crystals, nuggets and chips as transitions on the larger pieces. I create movement around the stones by hand sculpting as if the wire is dancing and swirling around it. Some of my pieces convey my interest in how energy moves, the chakra collection represents the energy within us and the celestial collection represents the universe’s energy. There are so many pieces to each of us, it is exciting to convey tiny pieces of my journey through my jewelry with the hope that they might inspire, heal, or just bring a smile to your face.
